A strong legged
punter who once punted during the pre-season for the Chicago
Bears of the NFL (averaging 43.5 yards per punt) and the
World League of American Football in Barcelona before
suffering a career ending injury. Mike began making a
name for himself averaging 47 yards per punt at Badin
High School. He was named All-State punter (Ohio)
and punted for Illinois State University where he was
a four year letter winner. He led the nation’s 1-AA universities
with a 44.1 yard average and was rated number
2 for net yardage (38.9) and set several school and conference
records including longest punt (74 yards), most career
punts 262, career average (40.0), total yards (10,460)
and ten punts over 60 yards in one season. He was named to 5 different First Team All-American teams (Walter Camp, Kodak, AP, Don Hansen's, Sporting News).
Currently, One On One kicking serves as kicking instructor for these universities camps such as Miami Hurricanes, Florida Gators, Alabama Crimson Tide, University of Tennessee, and coaches kickers from such colleges as LSU, Western Illinois, South East Missouri State, The University of Massachusetts, University of Connecticut, The University of Miami Hurricanes, Illinois State , Illinois, Oklahoma Sooner's, University of Colorado, University of Central Florida, Ole Miss, Auburn University, Akron Ohio, Alabama, West Virginia, Clemson, Louisville University and many more.
