Don Silvestri played professional football for nine years as a field goal,
kick-off and punting specialist. His professional sports career in football
was spent with various teams from 1992-2001. He played with the New York Jets from 1995-1997, where he led the AFC in touchbacks in 1995, and had a 46.7 yard punting average.
He also played with the Buffalo Bills, and Seattle Seahawks.
Don also spent time in the CFL (Sacramento Goldminers in 1993, and the Baltimore Stallions in 1994), NFL Europe (London Monarchs for three years) and the Arena Football League. He was on the Arena Bowl Champion Albany Firebirds in 1999. He was also an Academic All-American at Pitt.
